Fragments were originally part of same bifolium; however, there was originally still some space between the two extant fragments.
Readers' annotations
Fragment contains later added annotations in the outer margin of fol. [1]v ('Lau...[xxx]...missime domine iesu'). There is another in the upper margin of fol. [1]r, which is however largely illegible due to trimming.
Pen-flourished initials with (on fol. [1]r) and without (on fol. [1]v) interior reserved shapes; the intials on fol. [1]r contain Romanesque elements. Plain versals, alternately in red and blue ink; red rubrication.
Fol. [1]r: Responsory on the Birthday of Mary ('Adjuvabit eam deus vultu suo deus', CantusIndex ID 007199b); Canticle 1: 1-2, 4-5.
Fol. [1]v: Canticle 1:5; Responsory on the Assumption of Mary (Responsory 'Super salutem et omnem pulchritudinem', CantusIndex ID 007726); Canticle 1: 7-9; Responsory on the Annunciation of Mary ('Quomodo fiet istud respondens ait Maria' , CantusIndex ID 007505).
