Fragments' earlier hosts

The fragments were used as flyleaves in a register of the assizes of beer in the city of Antwerp kept between 1 May and 31 July 1572 ('Derde quaertier Jaers van Augustus - September - October. Anno 1572. Peter Goos'). The volume was kept by Peter Goos and overseen by Jan de Poortere. A modern paper slip with the inscription '1572-2' is attached to both leaves with string, referring to this origin.
